SMT Data Welcomes New CEO, Peter Bom!

We are incredibly excited at SMT Data to welcome our new CEO, Peter Bom, effective April 1, 2025! From our very first meeting with Peter, we knew he was the right leader to guide SMT Data into its next phase of growth and scalability.

Peter will be responsible for defining and executing a long-term strategic vision, expanding the company’s international market presence, and driving global revenue growth – including increasing our footprint in the US.

With a strong commercial mindset, deep expertise in international SaaS sales, and a unique ability to balance technical and business leadership, Peter is exceptionally well-equipped to lead SMT Data forward. He will work closely with the board of directors and executive team to enhance customer value, drive financial performance, forge strategic partnerships, and uphold operational excellence – all while fostering our strong, high-performance company culture.

His result-oriented mindset and over 20 years of experience in international sales and leadership, with companies such as IBM, T-Systems, EY, EDS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Iron Mountain, make him an invaluable addition to SMT Data.
