Introducing Our Youth Talent Program and Welcoming Meena

We’re excited to introduce our new Youth Talent Program (YTP) — and to welcome the very first participant, Meena Chand.

Our Youth Talent Program is created to give ambitious graduates and early-career professionals a strong start within mainframe performance management and cost allocation – areas where demand for new talent is rapidly growing.

The program combines hands-on experience with mainframe data and real performance challenges, alongside close collaboration with highly skilled specialists. It’s about building deep technical expertise while gaining insight into complex enterprise environments from day one.

We’re especially proud to have Meena joining as our first YTP participant. With an impressive background that includes recognition as TechChannel Rising Star 2025 and IBM Champion 2026, as well as involvement in initiatives such as the Open Mainframe Project, she brings both talent and passion to the program – and to SMT Data.

As Meena herself shares on LinkedIn, this marks “an exciting next step” — and a new chapter focused on building strong technical expertise, innovation, and business insight through hands-on experience.

We look forward to being part of her journey and seeing the impact she will make.

Welcome to SMT Data, Meena — we’re glad to have you with us!
