Nicklas Laine Overgaard has been part of the SMT Data management team since 2024. Nicklas has a Double Degree in Security and Mobile Computing and is a technological realist, software architect and obstacle course racer.

Jan Vilstrup joined the SMT Data management team in 2008. With a past in Sun Microsystems, StorageTek, SiliconGraphics (SGI), Kodak and MicroAge he holds a solid experience within international Sales and Management.

Kim Mortensen joined SMT Data in 2023. Kim has more than 30 years of IT experience and solid knowledge within the IT industry. Kim has great mainframe-specific skills with extensive experience in Mainframe Performance Management and Analysis, and helping customers reduce costs. 

Ingrid Martin comes with a strong background within sales, as well as a broad and deep IT knowledge. Ingird has covered roles as IT Sales executive for various companies, and has experience as a successful IT entrepreneur. She has been working both in the DACH Region and in different European countries.

Sara Garbul joined the SMT Data marketing team in October 2022. Sara works with SMT Data’s online platforms, is producing newsletters, and manages the website.

Jørgen Lund is one of the co-Founders of SMT Data. Jørgen has more than 30 years from a wide variety of mainframe installations and is specialized in installation, support, and managed operations for SMT Data products.

Erik Westergaard is the founder and former CEO of SMT Data. Erik has more than 40 years of experienced work in the IT industry with focus on capacity planning and performance management.

Ralph Amirtharaj joined SMT Data in 2019. Ralph holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and has extensive experience in Mainframe Architecture, Performance Architecture and Consulting, Performance and capacity Management, Database Administration, Application Performance Tuning and Distributed Capacity Planning.

Mary Solomon has been part of the SMT Data team of mainframe consultants since 2018. Mary has an MCA in Computer Application from Sastra University and over 10 years of mainframe experience.

Jens Olesen joined SMT Data in 2007. His main focus is helping customers maximize the benefits of using ITBI. Before joining SMT Data, Jens has worked as consultant for various international financial institutions. He has an extensive experience in technical architecture and cost optimization of infrastructure, middleware and applications on different platforms.

Andrew joined IBM 15 years ago, is part of the IBM z Systems World Wide leadership team and the Global Business Unit Executive for the IBM Z Tailored Fit Pricing program.

Prior to that, Andrew was on assignment to South Africa where he led the z business, and prior to that has held leadership roles for the IBM Z Systems software technical community in the Growth Market (Middle East & Africa), and in the UK. He has also been a development manager in the IBM Hursley Lab in the UK.

Prior to joining IBM, Andrew combined a career as a mainframe applications developer with being a ski coach in the Alps.

With a background in Economy and Business, Yvonne Christine Bauer has 13 years of work experience within IBM, specializing in sales and most recently within z Software Sales – MLC. Yvonne is currently employed as Consultant and Project Manager at Living Mainframe.

Nils Kierkegaard has been part of SMT Data’s management since 2009, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors. Nils has more than 30 years of experience from executive positions within the IT industry.

Tina Auerbach joined SMT Data in September 2022. Tina has more than 25 years of all-round expertise in financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and process optimization. Her experience is mainly from multinational Professional Services Companies.

Mads Ehlers Rasmussen joined the SMT Data management team in December 2020. Mads holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Computer Science.

Steven Thomas has been part of the SMT Data management team since 2011. Steven holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford and has over 40 years of technical and business experience from Saxo Bank, Fidelity Information Services, and IBM.
