A Year of Growth, Momentum, and Milestones

As SMT Data continues to accelerate its global growth, our CEO Peter reflects on his first year in the role. In the following post, he shares key milestones, strategic progress, and the partnerships that have shaped our journey, along with his perspective on where we are headed next.

As I reflect on my first 12 months as CEO of SMT Data, I feel incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. It has been a year of growth, momentum, and important milestones, and I am deeply grateful for the trust our existing and new clients have placed in us. I am equally thankful for the strong partnerships and collaboration that continue to support our amazing journey:

• Impressive double-digit revenue growth
• 1.1M MIPS under management, up 100%
• Signing the largest engagement in the company’s 35-year history
• Welcoming our first customer in Asia
• Expanding our footprint across North America and Europe
• Expanding our team into Portugal
• Launching our Youth Talent Program (YTP)
• Strengthening ITBI as a leading platform of choice through the launch of Grace (our AI mainframe assistant), the expansion of our Data Lake offerings, launch of version 2 of our portal, and the start of development on our next AI-driven platform foundation

My first 12 months have clearly been shaped by our global growth ambitions, the rapid acceleration of AI adoption, and the need to define what these changes mean for our business, our clients, and our future. Over the past year, we have become clearer on the role we want to play, sharpened our strategy, and set a strong direction for what comes next.

I want to thank our employees, clients, and partners. You have made my first year in this role both exciting and rewarding, and I am grateful to be on this journey with you. I am proud of what has been accomplished, and even more excited about what lies ahead.
